hey guts, im really happy at the mo. dont know why. maybe its coz i finally am making an effort at uni and no longer have a bad conscious about not goin 2 anything. went on a date yesterday. went for some lunch, a coffee, some shopping, drinks and random walks along the seafront and through some parks. was really cool. came home at midnight to find my flat packd with guys. its turned into a bit of a bachelor pad at the mo. all the girls in the flat have gone away 4 a bit so we have put all our tvs in the kitchen and hooked them up 2 xboxs so we can watch movies on one and play computer games on the other to. a bit sad i guess but oh well. on another random topic i encourage all of u 2 read The Moonstone. We r doin it in english at the mo on my uni course at it rules. its a detective novel about a diamond being stole under the influence of opium and in order to solve the crime a doctor takes opimum to retrace steps. how cool is that? good old wilkie collins. he was an opium addict himself. i love random books. my mate told me about a book written while the dude was on lsd and its just his train of thought but i cant rememebr what its called now. maybe i never knew? maybe it never happened? just maybe. what else is up in the land of Dave? well my mate is droppin out and movin back to paris which is a bit harsh but shes not happy here so its probably best. supposed to be goin out on a lads night 2night which should b a laugh. last time we had one we managed to make money. some dude payed us 20 to sign him in coz he wasnt part of the uni. then he bought us a few drinks and some food and at the end of the night saw my mate and gave him another 20 so we had sunday lunch down the pub. good old dave the optician from sheffield.
