I was without the internet for over a week.

Everyone thought I was dead.

Nope.

Not dead.


I moved into a kick ass new apartment. Brand new stainless appliances, in unit w/d, hardwood floors, a kick ass deck... what more do you need in Chicago?


Parking.

You need parking.

I drive a Scion XA.

This means that I can fit into spaces that no one else can.

I'm like a ninja.

A parking ninja.


I need coffee.

Smooth and bold.

Dark and lovely.


I'm sitting in the spare bedroom surrounded by boxes.

I don't have a new desk yet, so the monitor is on a window ledge and the keyboard is in my lap.

This room stresses me the fuck out.


I'll drink my coffee elsewhere.


A better update soon.

My computer suffered a heart attack and died, leaving me sans internet for about a week and a half and no one noticed....no surprise here.

Congrats on the new apartment....it def sounds a great place. Parking must be a bitch , but like you said you are the parking ninja...do you throw smoke bombs or anything when you pull out of your parking spots?

you rock! a deck! you can't sit outside in the winter in a sleeping bag and look at the stars at night all year!

I'm on a beach on NY and got my ass kicked surfing today. but it is so beautiful.
