Today I applied to be a bike messanger.

Although it wasn't my original intention, I think its the most exciting job I've applied to all day.

Retail is great because of the discounts... cocktail waitressing is great because of the hours and tips...

But there is just something so enticing about making money on my bike...

Something so...

romantic.


There is nothing more satisfying than pushing my body...

I'm constantly trying to see what else it can do...

How far it can go.


There is this moment after completing a what seemed before to be an impossible task, like when I ran my first 8k...

I feel so very...

FULL.

Alive.

As if my heart could explode at any moment.

More than any other time in my life, I am completely in love with myself.


I know that messangering is a tough job... especially in the bottomless freezyness that is Chicago.

But I just want to see how far I can go.

I want to fall in love with myself all over again.
