THIS SATURDAY! Below is some details on the show I will be playing and everyone needs to try and come out and see. (I didn't write this, I am only passing the info along.)

The REVOLUTION in the Middle of Nowhere is a FREE festival of local bands ranging from punk to technical death metal, and everything in between. The festival is organized by members of Entropy and Static Breed and held at Entropy's space in the Middle of Nowhere, A.K.A. 8350 Elk Lick Falls Rd. in Lexington, Kentucky

Setting

The REVOLUTION in the Middle of Nowhere IV will occur on Saturday April 18th starting at 3 PM and probably lasting all day and into the night. The festival is 100% FREE and open to all ages.
It is held outdoors in a field, we may have food but we have little funding so attendants are encouraged to bring food and drinks and plan for a full day at the REVOLUTION, because all of these bands kick ass and you wouldn't want to miss a second of it. However since this is a private residence, we'd like to avoid any legal trouble, so we'd prefer if you didn't bring alcohol, this is about the MUSIC anyway.
Though planning for the REVOLUTION IV began not long after the REVOLUTION III occurred, the process was plagued by one disaster after another. Colossi broke up, a big disappointment to the death metal community. But Static Breed reformed, a triumph for the Punk world! Static and local progressive masters Paradigm were booked to start with, making for a classic REVOLUTION lineup. Unfortunately by the end both of these familiar bands could not make it! But we didn't give up, we completed a Hell of a lineup with little time to spare!

The Bands

www.myspace.com/beyondtheshore
Beyond the Shore: "Within a world that grows only colder, its rare to find young metal bands with a positive message. Shipwrecked among these wolves that try to bring us down, we will rise up and show we have heart and prove passion in one of the most influential forms of art that exists. Beyond The Shore is a mix of metal and hardcore, which results in a metal-core band ready to explode when they take the stage. From hammering melodic riffs followed by explosive breakdowns, machine gun sounding drums and such brutal vocals comes a band of close friends that are blessed to do what they love so passionately."
Metal/hardcore from Lexington, KY. Beyond the Shore performed at the REVOLUTION in the Middle of Nowhere III

Entropy: "Entropy's name was inspired by Isaac Asimovs short story, The Last Question, as well as the concept of entropy, that nothing is eternal; reactions, organisms, human beings, empires, worlds, and the universe itself will all come to an end. While writing a lot of technical death metal, Entropy never completely abandoned their black metal origins; they also incorporate elements of other genres such as folk metal and funeral doom metal, leading to a very diverse sound incorporating the various influences of the three core members. Lyrics deal with war, rebellion, religion, mythology, history and protecting the environment, with an overall theme of decay, and entropy."
Technical blackened death metal from Lexington, KY and the Middle of Nowhere, Nowhere. Entropy has organized and performed at every REVOLUTION festival.

Dave Hyde: A prolific musician/producer who achieved mainstream success in the band Showoff, but has more recently become well known on the underground for his independent label Riotous Records and his solo work, having no resemblance whatsoever to his pop punk days. Dave's mission is to destroy music. Avant-garde is an understatement for the set you are in for at the REVOLUTION! Dave will be backed up by members of Entropy to perform his first live set in years! Don't miss this once in a lifetime opportunity!
Everything that music is not, from Chicago, IL, currently coming out from Campblesville, KY. Dave has not performed at a REVOLUTION event before and may never again!

www.myspace.com/templesofsinn77
Temples of Sinn: Underground as you can get! This duo takes us back to the '80s old school death metal and thrash. We guarantee they're one of the more unique bands you've seen!
Death/thrash from Winchester, KY. Temples of Sinn has never performed a REVOLUTION before, but we hope to see more of them in the future!

www.myspace.com/nachtengel6
Nightshade: A new band built from some musicians known on the local black metal scene, such as Sam Pedneau from such bands as Apocryphal Revelation, Nidstang and another band called Nightshade. This female-fronted gothic metal band is sure to stand out from anything else at the REVOLUTION and make it all the more interesting!
Gothic Metal from Lexington, KY. Nightshade has never performed a REVOLUTION before, don't miss it!

www.myspace.com/pilloryofsociety
Pillory of Society: The band that saved the REVOLUTION IV by providing the PA when paradigm dropped out, but that's not the only reason they're here! They're the only punk we've got left after Static Breed dropped, and they're pretty awesome. They're new to the scene so come show your support!
Punk from Lexington, KY. Pillory of Society has never played a REVOLUTION before, but this is a good time to start!

Weather

Forecast for April 18th as of April 11th: High 63, Low 45, AM Clouds / PM Sun, Precip 20%; an ideal day as long as it doesn't rain during the festival, there is little chance that it will so even if it rains earlier in the day don't assume the show is cancelled, we will only cancel for a rather intense storm that does not look like it will let up. UNLESS AN OFFICIAL ANNOUNCEMENT IS MADE, THE SHOW IS STILL ON.

EVERYONE BE THERE!!!! AND SPREAD THE WORD!!!!!
