It's the end of a long and shitty week. Very few things worked out the way the should have this week. Throw in two deaths in 3 days and you have this past week in my world. No fun at all. There is light at the end of this whole mess though. I have been getting back to work on mixing The Unstables record and it is sounding awesome. It will be a fun record and I can't wait to have it finished so we can release it to the world. Plus the band is just a bunch of really cool people and I look forward to being able to do this for them and for them to have something to show for themselves. Also this coming Tuesday (March 3rd) we will be releasing a split featuring an old friend of mine called D.J. Dirty So-n' So and my wife known in the music world as Alluvia. Hopefully this does well for them. It has 10 tracks and they did it for the RPM Challenge. If you don't know what that is, check out RPM Challenge and if you want to hear a few tracks from the release go HERE! They each recorded 3 full tracks and then supplied one another with stuff that they each created 2 more tracks with. The release is titled "Honestly, You Cheat" Here is what the artwork looks like....


So nothing else will hopefully go in the direction of shit any time soon. I have a lot coming up to do. This coming weekend, I have country/folk artist Chelsea Rae coming back to the studio to work on more demos. It is a nice challenge for me to write and produce country stuff because I know so little about it. SO yeah. There is that. Then I have to finish The Unstables. Start Writing and recoding the rest of The Surf Swirlies, finish cleaning up and release Those Naked Guys, finish producing and recording the full length from Entropy, and whatever else I either left out or commit to doing... and all of this needs to be done in the next few months preferably. Why do I like to keep so busy? I should hate it really. So enough about music bullshit.

In the rest of my world and the most important part of my world, the wife and kid are good all things shitty mentioned above considered. The weather sucks one day and is awesome another. My beard had a 2 month birthday at 2 am. I shaved 2 hours into the new year and made it my resolution to not shave again this year. My face that is. So to help me get through the year, I will celebrate every month. Here it (and me) is right this very moment.....


Last but not least, I also want to say that I have a handful of really cool and special pals here at the SG site and I hope you all know who you are. For you handful of folks, thanx for being my pal, thanx for being so kind, and thanx for being around. And not to take away from these special pals of mine, and extra special mention to my pal Niobe who makes a day better just because she is in the world.
