New music flows like a diarrhea attack running down the back of my leg turning my socks brown. I am almost finished with the first album from Jesus Fucking Christ and the God Damn It's. Then I will work on the first new Surf Swirlies songs in 5 years!!!! A couple new tracks to add to a best of type thing. Then it will be more new Surf Swirlies with hopes to have a record together for early spring of 2009 the latest. Why am I giving such a long time frame? Because I will also be doing the follow up to Jesus Fucking Christ and the God Damn It's as well as a few other projects. one will hopefully see a collaboration between me and Shannon (a.k.a. Alluvia a.k.a. my wife), and other will be a collaboration with a guy from Florida, I think that was where he was from. I may squeeze in another "solo" effort in there as well. That will most likely include all the nonsense that spews from me that I can't or wont use for all the other projects....the afterbirth if you will. Maybe that will be the album title. Anyway, I also hope to get into at least an EP with Entropy this summer. I have a few other potential things, but nothing worth saying yet. All of this along with the birth of a new record label, Riotous Records! Run by my wife and me. An outlet for ourselves and our friends and whoever else wants to do something. It should be rather productive, and for the first time in years, I feel like being over booked and overwhelmed with music projects. So all in all it will be good I think. Let me know if you want to get into a project or do somethig on the new label, or simply submit something for use with a project I am working on. The more people involved the more insaine and creative it will be. Just check out the beautiful dice about it.
