I finally feel like I am recovering from this last weekend. A really good friend of mine from New York (well, actuallly she is from Boston right now because she is in school there) came into town. She got here on Thursday night and we hung out all night and all the next day. No sleep until about 2:30 Friday afternoon, and it was only...

Mike Mahaffey of the band Self passed away in his sleep night before last night. He was a friend made while on tour with Self about 5 years ago. You best not forget about this wonderful person.

So I am in the process of getting a new production company up and running. I have taken the last two years off from just about anything like this, so it will be nice to get back to it. It is in the early stages right now, so give it some time. Once I get things together I will be putting together a comp to...

Life is all about making the best out of things.
Well, tonight the wife, the kid, and myself got together with an old friend who we haven't seen in a long while and hung out and went bowling. It was a lot of fun. It is always nice to get back together with an old friend that you have managed to lost touch with for a while. She had her daughter and (new to us)...

I finally got my copy of the new Fantomas record (Suspended Animation) yesterday, and holy shit...this record is amazing. Anyone who doesn't own it, should. I find it hard to believe there will be a better record out the rest of 2005!
Anyway, not much else is new here. It is starting to get nicer out. Time to cut my grass again. Driving around on...

Yes it was!
So, I am finally going to try and get my shit together on this site. I have put a few pictures in the picture section. I am an ugly sod, so I resorted to putting pictures of my daughter who is super beautiful. There are only a few, but I will hopefully put up a bunch more. Otherwise, no new updates really. I still miss...

why thank you!
So I have very little to say, but feel the need to update this thing. I never made it to my old bands reunion show. I haven't heard much good about it, so it sounds like it was a good thing to miss. I ate too much food tonight and feel ill. I hate when that happens. Well, that is it for now. Ta ta....

I'm actually quite far from that particular walmart cause I'm in college, lol. I'd say it will be quite a while before I'm ever around Campbellsville :9

I'm actually from Cincinnati but moved to KY when I was 12, not to Campbellsville but somewhere around there, within a 10,000 mile radius, lol. I dont like many people in them parts either and I stay away as long as possible unless to see my boyfriend or family or dog
Get out while you still can! lol
Don't forget about that Showoff reunion show this Tuesday at the House Of Blues in sweet home Chicago! I may drive up and at least play a few songs with them, but I wont know for sure until Monday night. Either way, those of you who can make it, should. I just spoke with Dan (drummer) and they are at his house working on songs...

That's right kiddies, the Showoff reunion show is set. The show is Tuesday, March 15th in Chicago, IL at House Of Blues (329 N. Dearborn). It's Showoff, with Starstruck, The Fold, and Michaelane. Doors are at 5:30 PM. Tickets are $15 and ALL proceeds will go to Chris Messer's (from Showoff) father. He is fighting cancer. It is a good cause,...

Good luck with the reunion show.
Good luck with the reunion show.
Yeah, something I always said I would not do. My old band, Showoff, is working on a reunion show. It will be in Chicago and as of now sometime in March. Nothing is set as of yet. The reason is a good one though. It will be a benefit for Chris' (singer) father who has cancer and is in need of some financial assistance. I...

It was interesting learning about you, and thanks for the invite at the end, although I think I'm a little far away.
As for the benefit, sounds awesome, DO IT.

The car I'm paying for is mine, which is why I needed the loaner from hell. It is actually a smoker apparently, my mechanic was saying I drove an old car too hard and made pressure in the transmission blow transmission fluid out of the dipstick, wait, this seems very similar to something else. Anyway, he said its ok for now and I should just be easier on older cars.
Well, I was just asked by my old friend and ex-band mate to come back to Chicago and do a reunion gig. A benifit show for his father who has cancer. I have said for years I would never be a part of a reunion, but then the cause is a good one so I am torn. I haven't really even talked to the guys...

As I try to get settled into the new house, I am finding that I have way too much crap. I have tossed a bunch and given away a bunch. I still have all kinds of stuff left I would like to give to a good home if anyone is interested. I feel a little guilty about something I did though. I had a huge...

I saw your comment on Quinne's journal....
My house is haunted too. I moved here 2 1/2 years ago and the previous owners (original owners) of the house stuck around. The man moved on recently, I saw him once, and the woman, hangs out in our guest room. A few times a week, when I'm home alone, I can hear some stomping around from where the guest room is upstairs. I may have seen her, not sure, all I saw was a dark mass pass by in the reflection of the mirror in the corner of my eye.
Anyways, about your daughter... if she's not creeped out by or scared of this person she talks to, don't make her feel weird about it. Be open about it with her and accepting of it. Ask her questions about 'Margali', you might be able to find some stuff out about why he's there and such. Children around that age (under 4 or 5) are more open to the spirit world because they just came from there. A lot of times, they can even remember things from past lives.
Hope I'm not weirding you out by this, just hoping to help you to understand what might be going on and offering advice
