I think I'm long overdue for an update with substantial info...
Well, I guess i'll just recap the last 2 weeks...
I got back from Colombia a week ago and reflecting on the visit, I wish a friend of mine could have gone and shared in all the fun i went through...
Bogota is an interesting city and just had everything you could ever want... a little unsafe in certain areas, but still fun... i guess its really not as depressing as Kathmandu was...
Once i got back to Miami, I pretty much rested for the day to get used to the pressure adjustments... everything i did felt like a bigger effort for some reason... to used to that high elevation... here in miami, its really hot! like 80 degrees! its winter though wtf?!
So what did i do... practiced a bit of bass (i left it in miami... bad idea) and then decided, "i should buy a guitar..."
So off to sm ash i went and got me a used fender guitar but it was practicly brand new... i also got me an overdrive/distortion pedal for my bass too... grand total with picks and cables n stuff? $160
yay, still had 20 bucks in cash left over from x-mas $$...
then school... le sigh, what a boring semester... i chose the wrong minor, but im too far into it to change now... but on the plus side, the majority are online classes, so i only have to go to class once a week!!!
so, more time to practice guitar and continue to experiment with my bass... but alas, i really need to find a job... ill get to it! i got some applications ready...
and i just realized, on my last night in bogota, i was sleeping and had a dream about a picture i saw in Andromeda's journal (jan 7 entry)... i woke up around 3 am and couldn't find a paper to write it on except this thing from a time magazine... well i had this poem/story/dream that pretty much wrote itself... but i put it away in my lugage and left it alone until today...
here it is... its like a first draft... sorry if its too shitty, but i hope you like it:
To see you lying there
I wish to place my head on your chest
Nestled safely between your breasts
To hear the beat... beat... beat
That sings me slowly to sleep
So i can dream of you again...
Your feelings singing to my thoughts,
It's your heart and my head
Communicating in this bed
Because I think too much you said
the beats are to let me know what it is to feel...
It is just a shame
I have never seen your face,
that i am alone in this place
you are just a dream...
But I can never forget:
you, you are my future,
It's just a shame we have not met yet...
I've never felt insipred to write something like that... im pretty much just a creative writer for ads... but the picture just invaded my head... it really is a lovely picture, just like all of Andromeda's others...
also, "I want everyone who reads this to ask me three questions, no more, no less. Ask me anything you want."

What is your minor?
How did you learn how to play guitar?
How did you find SG?
I've heard the elevation changes can do weird stuff to your body. I think we have a lot in common. Wow I can't believe you like the cardigans. And guess what? I met Orgy in October. Have you heard of Ryan's and Amir's new band called Julien-K?
