Well, it's not really a big update to the journal, but I'm bored, so why not?
A few days ago I was sitting in a restaurant waiting for my take-out order to arrive, so I was pretty bored. Strange thing is, I had the first real impulse in my life to take out my notebook and wrote poetry, so that's what I did. Sure, I write all the time, but never poetry, so it was a pretty liberating experience for me.
Unfortunately, I haven't really been able to capture that moment again, so I haven't written any more poetry. Kind of a bummer, but I'm sure that inspiration will strike again.
