Well, I went to the concert last night with Drew. It was the Gob/Simple Plan/Avril Lavigne concert that we were working. We were doing promotional giveaways of gummy bears and cd samplers. They closed the interstate that takes us to the show so we were quite late and had to do the promotion after the show instead of before.
The bands were all cool. We got to hang out with Gob for awhile in their dressing room but didn't get to meet anyone else. All the bands played well too. After the show, we were at the doors handing out like 500 cds and 4 large boxes of gummy bears. We literally got bumrushed and all the stuff went very quick.
We didn't do anything after the show, althogh Drew kept being mistaken for someone in Gob. We had to the chance to play with some 'groupies' outside the loading dock but we didn't. They were waiting for people to come out and we just happened to leave the venue out of the loading dock. They wanted to talk to us (thinking we were a band), but we just walked past. Could have been some good fun and a good joke, but oh well. It was a pretty cool night.
