Newest update is that my newest rat Erin is pregnant and expecting any day now. Turns out she was a couple days pregnant when we brought her home from the pet store, but how were we supposed to know? Anyways, Erin is holding up in a cage by herself for the next month while she delivers and nurses. Poor Ecco (older female rat) wants to play with her all the time and isn't going to get to play with her or her babies for at least 2-3weeks. Poor Ecco.
Oh, by the way, all of my rats of recent have been named after SGs ... Mia, Ecco (small name change), and Erin. SGs up for contention as names for the new rats are Rachel, Katie, Zoe and Snow. For any SG who wants to be honored by having one of my pets dawn her name, leave me a msg with your intentions and they will be granted.
