Friday & Saturday were two bittersweet days for me. While a lot of good things happened this weekend, some bad things happened as well. My eldest rat Mia was acting sick on Saturday morning and she died in the afternoon. I'm really broken up about it as is my other girl Ecco. We were both depressed yesterday, especially Ecco who has never been alone in her entire life. The longest she's been away from Mia was an occasional 20-30min when one would be downstairs and the other would still be in the cage.

Okay, for the good parts to the weekend. I got an email from my mother early Friday and my grandmother successfully had a kidney removed. The good news is that they didn't find any more cancer. :-) I worked on Friday night and earned lots of money. After the game, I went out with faded and a few buddies to a Drag Show in town. It was entertaining and we all enjoyed ourselves. Afterwards, we came back to the house and recovered from smelling/tasting like smoke.

Saturday I woke up to find that Mia was acting odd. She looked to have lost some weight, was breathing heavily and had lost her agility. I said goodbye to her and went to Justin's (saying goodbye for the last time). At Justin's we changed my breakpads which definately needed changing. Afterwards I picked up Alia at her apartment and brought her back to say goodbye to Mia who had passed. To cap the evening off, I went over to Justin's and watched 'My Fair Lady' w/ Ryan and Justin for the remander of the evening.

It has been an emotional weekend for me. Today I have to work again and Terre Haute is under a winter storm warning. They are predicting icy conditions with 5-6inches of snow accumulation. :-)
