My rats are moving the bedding around there cage; they must be making a new place to sleep. They've seemed really happy lately which makes me content. I feel bad sometimes 'cause they mostly just sit around in their cage. But, if I hadn't bought them at the store, someone else might have fed them to their snake. Grr.

I finished most of my Christmas shopping tonight. Found a good number of things for my family, although I am stumped as for what to get my sister. I haven't lived with her in four years so I don't know what kind of things she really likes. Here are a few of my ideas thusfar ... a) small spaceheater (she lives in Wisconsin), b) large container of laundry detergent (extra exciting), or possibly a DVD (maybe 'Finding Nemo').

Being home has been nice thusfar, no complaints. I thoroughly enjoy Christmas though, which makes everything all the more enjoyable.

I guess this is a more pleasant entry than I usually post. I guess I just left the sorrow out of my journal for now. Smiles. -Dave
