So I made it all the way through the week, but just barely. On Wednesday I woke up at 6am to some horrible mouth pain and a puddle of blood on my pillow. Sometime earlier in the night, the stiches from my wisdom teeth extraction had busted open and one of the incisions was gushing blood. The entire right side of my mouth was filled with blood. After a couple hours I got it under control and went back to bed for a few hours. When I woke up several hours later, I found much the same situation. So, I iced my mouth until the bleeding mostly stopped and called my dentist. He brought me in right away and stiched up the wound for me. It was mighty fun.

So, to make the week seem short, my teeth/gums are doing pretty well. I get these stiches out Monday and I think it's gonna be my last trip to the dentist for awhile. :-) Horray! I've been off medications and painkillers for over a day now so I'm feeling much better.

My roommates and I went and got a live Christmas tree yesterday. It is a beautifully impressive 9ft Douglas Fir complete with squirrel (just kidding). I did put my rats in there and let them navigate the branches but they weren't too fond of it.

Tonight is a electronic dance party event that I co-chaired. I'm hoping we have some good attendance, although I'm afraid that we are not. Suck. I'm in charge of the equipment (sound and lighting) so my job is pretty simple tonight, less hauling a couple hundred pounds of equipment around.
