So my little experiment has been going alright. I have been offline from AIM for about 3-4 days now and I'm not feeling too disconnected. I've been having problems getting hold of a few people, but for the most part, my life hasn't slowed down. Being offline afforded me the opportunity to get caught up on work and work about 50-60hrs in the last 5-6days.

I think being on AIM all the time was making me unhealthy. Instead of chatting with people, I would just watch away messages (which I know a lot of people do). I've also tried to stay away from my friend's blogs and actually talk to them about things for a change. My only real public face has been suicidegirls which has been a mixed bag of nuts. No one on here really knows me; maybe I'm enjoying the anonymity.

So in a nutshell, there are a lot of things that are confusing me at the moment and a lot of things that I want to change in my life. Actually implementing these changes in the hardest thing though. My plan to start working out has not been, well .... working out. I should start that tomorrow again.

I hope to come out of my little 'groove rut thing' with more meaningful relationships with people, a better understanding of myself, and more self confidence. Those are my goals, we shall see how I do. Remind me to check those every couple weeks.

Now that I have a mission statement, I will go to bed. It's been a long, exhausting week. -dave

it was absolutely packed tonight... I waited 45 minutes in line to get in... we were among the last people in because the school club only holds 350... it was really cool once I finally got somewhere where I could see!

Good idea. Online communication can decrease your social skills if you do too much of it. I know people that are fun to talk to online, but horribly boring offline. They just don't know how to interact, with other people, anymore.
