Today I made it out to to pickup a Christmas tree for my apartment. I purchased a 6-7ft tree and managed to get it home and into my apartment with little problems. Now, I already had a tree stand from our Christmas tree on 17th Street in Terre Haute. However, after an hour of struggling, I realized that the stand I had is for larger trees and won't fit my "small" tree. Thus, I made it back out to the store to pickup a smaller tree stand. I am now the proud owner of two Christmas tree stands but no bedroom dresser. I decorated the tree with my lights that I also had from 17th Street. My mother gave me a lighted wreath which I hung on my wall. And finally, I had my ornaments that I have collected or made since I was in preschool. I placed them on my tree with care and now I am much more ready for Christmas. Last year I didn't do a damn thing for Christmas and it didn't feel right. -dave
