Been awhile since I posted on here. The past couple weeks have been really hectic, but here are some highlights. My Biznis Unikitty Lego minifig came in!
And this happened...
I did not fall, surprisingly, but I did not look like I knew what I was doing either. I later switched with my friend and used his rollerblades which were much much better, but still had a blast. I feel like I should do this more often.
I had an investigation Saturday, the first in a long time. Every time, I get more and more organized. I'm at the point where I am pretty satisfied with all my equipment and my preparation routine which is a good feeling. Here is an idea of what a normal investigation consists of...and this is just my equipment, the rest of the team brings their own stuff too!
Before that though, the team decided to meet up beforehand to discuss the case and grab some dinner. We do not get to see each other too often so it was a great time. Even ended up at hookah bar...but since people are dumb and knock things over the hookahs had to stay on the ground and the hoses were a bit short, as you can see. Good times.
The investigation went really well. There were a lot of investigators who saw shadows or figures that we have still not yet been able to explain. I believe we got at least one on video which is really exciting! Also, possibly had some success with using a mag lite in order to get responses on cue. I am still pretty skeptical about using this technique, but we did have some interesting activity. I did not get home till 5:30am, but it was worth it! I am hoping we get some good stuff in the data review. This case has also opened up several other opportunities, so hopefully there will be some great investigations coming in the near future!
I also finally convinced someone else to go to me, so I bought my 3 day pass to Boston Calling. 3 days of awesome music, can't wait. Also, just happens to be the same weekend that Legoland Boston opens, so I'll definitely be stopping by there too!
Then I open my email this morning to see that NIN is coming back around?!?! This year has so many awesome shows. So far I have tickets to:
