I've been in work mode the last few weeks - apologies for the lack of updates.
Been so focused on work, that I've not really been preparing properly for my trip - especially mentally.

Argh. There's so much that needs to be done. Mostly I need to be away from home to figure that stuff out.
I hate to be one of those "I-need-to-find-myself" people, but that's exactly what I need to do. Find the inner hippie spirit etc etc etc.

I graduated from University the other day - did the whole gown and pointy square hat thing - quite a surreal experience - one I'd like to repeat one day should I do a Masters or even a PHD.

I need to set myself up with some work and contacts in Canada... nothing going on there. Will be living there by the end of the year. I just need to leave already! All this anticipation has started to scare me; lately I've been wondering whether I rushed into these decisions. I guess I have to some degree, but then you can only stand back and think about it for so long before taking the first steps. SOMEBODY GET ME ON A PLANE ALREADY!!!!

In other news: Manchester United lost to Chelsea, makes me want to go to Manchester *just* a little less. Damn, cos I had money on that game too! Hopefully, Liverpool will do better over AC Milan in the UEFA...
