The Bibles a great read. There's action, suspence, betrayal, drama, sex, kings, queens, great acts of courage and cowardice. It's sort of like the lord of the rings, except maybe not that long.

Thanks for visiting my page and leaving a note. I agree totally with JosephusB. Knowing the Bible is essential for literary types such as myself- it's a most strange & convoluted document. The passage I gave you (from the beuatiful and poetic Isaiah) is a come-back for when religious types give you a hard time. You are most definitely a weapon fit for its work.
