My weekend:
- Had people over for a BBQ Friday that turned way bigger than expected, but was awesome just the same.
- Heard the phrase "it looks like you have a vagina on your knee". F'realz.
- Went out for dinner for my best girlfriend's birthday & wound up sitting between two exes.
One of them hasn't stayed in touch, and I was saddened to see he hasn't grown up at all in the near-decade we've been apart. He's still fun, and funny, and really smart, but he hasn't done anything to speak of, and it's such a waste. Had a fabulous time, however, and we went out dancing after dinner. Those of you on my FB can see the pics.
- Spent a morning in a pub & felt really good about it. Ate great huevos rancheros, too.
- My other best friend and I are moving soon (we hope), but we were disappointed to see that the house I loved was too small. So many places advertised as "two bedrooms" are really just a bedroom and a glorified closet. The prospective landlords are always surprised that we want two bedrooms for two people. If he was my boyfriend, wouldn't I refer to him as such, and not as a roommate?
It sucks.
Back to square one.
- I got my official offer letter this afternoon for the new job. The HR guy was super nice on the phone, and told me how excited he was to meet me. I really feel like this new job may turn out to be a really great fit for me people-wise. Thank goodness. I got spoiled at my last job because I loved everyone.
- I really feel like my life is headed where I want it to. I have fantastic friends, I'm excited about the new job, and I love the area I'm trying to move to.

In answer to your question, not doing great, not doing too bad, kind of just riding the edge.
i wish i had spent the day in the pub, my hangover would have loved that!
