Redemption is one of the sweetest words in the English language, I swear to God.
The day after, and like the saying "Time heals all wounds", well, with time, comes a gradual, gradual lessening of pain.
Oh, on a lighter note, this summer: two boys, three spots: Paris, Amsterdam, Germany. Backpacking, staying at hostels, tourist crap and non-tourist crap. Funny part is....my parents absolutely LOVE the idea! I was expecting the usual response of "Great, our son is a nutcase, doing something stupid and dangerouse once again" to which my response is always "I don't care." But this time, it was "That's a marvelous idea."And I don't really care...as usual. But who am I fooling, I know I actually do kinda care. What a momma's boy. But hey, if you've been with one parent all of the time, (in a healthy relationship, mind you), wouldn't you be close as hell to them?
Dawn of the Dead is tomororw for me and Pandemonium who gets my kudos for being such a wonderful friend in a time of need.
And I'm going to see Ghostfaced Killah at Culture Shock at SUNY Purchase? Want to know why? Three reasons:
1. I really like Wu Tang Clan, I admit it.
2. Half a dozen bands that I love in one hall.
3. SUNY Purchase rules, I feel at home in a crowd of strangers. Take THAT, NJ Hardcore scene!
