So how much did the post change when the new brigade was added?
I was so surprised to hear about that really. The talk all the time when we were up there was about giving the post back to the Army National Guard and turning it back into Camp Drum or something.
Though, I must say, they do have ample training area up there!
Fuck I hated those road-marches. Fuckin radio on the back, carrying your spare radio batteries, carrying some of the ammo for the gunners, carrying all your supplies and everything else.... Lord that shit was heavy. of course, the NCOs and the PLs never fucked with me after the first time they saw the weight of my gear on the scales. I never handed off my shit.
I just died at the end of each roadmarch lmao!

Unfortunately, I'm going to be hauling balls back to the Springs because of the camping trip, so I'm not stopping much of anywhere along the way except for maybe a few hours nap. Just not in the cards this time.
