so i walked out on my job as a grocery jockey, felt pretty good about it. i used to just allow my employers to treat me like shit but this time i had it. and the hat was not enough to keep me there.

i admit that i really did not take the job "seriously" and i probably did have an "attitude" (so she said) but she just made no sense ever; yelling at me for things then telling me to do those things then yelling at me again, bloody confusing. this micro-management "dragon-lady" (as the customers deemed her) could not handle stress at all and i just let her take it out on me. while the others would cry or appologize for (not) doing what she said they did do; i would just stare off blankly and say "yes", "sure", "you got it", "never again".

If i just knew the language better i would not have to take these shitty jobs. Bah, only a month then back in school. next summer i plan to get into some serious french language courses even though i will be leaving quebec. you see i do want to learn it and that way i'll be prepared for when i can visit Ophelie in France ( because i will try to visit her as much as possible, i love her to bits).

my dad's getting radiation therapy right now for the tumor in his head, on account of the lung cancer, and apparently he is doing good. which is quite a relief to me because when i last seen him he looked a tad on the ill side and i really did not know what could happen. I am prepared for what is happening but it still frightens me when i get bad news over it.

i plan to drink a little red wine today to calm-the-nerves so to speak, however, i really just wanted to get a bit sinked and nerves sounded like a good excuse.

i made two dresses last weekend and realized how when i learned how to soe i learned by making costumes for dance and theatre, so, my finished product is actually not-so-finished after all. drunken stitching and miscoloured thread. essentially, when making costumes we would only soe what had to be sewn and did not bother with serging ends and what not. still, they turned out okay and some rich ladies from ever cliche greene avenue made some lovely comments.

well it's goodbye for today my dears and have a marvelous day, week, etc. i'll speak with you later.

i love this picture.

Dude. I just got back from Central America and now I am moving to Montral in August, going to Concordia.

Which areas should I check for apartments? I hear Mile end and Plateau? Or am I drunk?

ALSO; Did you at least steal the hat after you quit?
