so i just took some garbage out and did a little exporing around the back side of my apartment building. i noticed a small/medium sized rat with brown hair and shiny black eyes. he stood there watching me and allowed me to get close enough to introduce myself. we chatted for a while and it seems he is the same little rat i almost stepped on when i had taken my bunnies out for a midnight walk. i appologized and he forgave me with a sniff from his tiny nose. we said our goodbyes and both agreed to talk again soon.
