Im writting this because this means alot to me, and I dont give two shits what anyone here thinks. I want people to know how special an animal can be to someone.
Zam dyed this morning. I came home from work and she passed away in her blanket in the front room watching TV. She had a illness that started about 2 weeks and and I have been caring for her since. My best friend, my little girl, my special rat, is gone. I am crying and will continue to and I really dont care what people think about it. She is lying in my lap, now I have to figure out what to do with my zammer whammer. I have 5 days off from work to mourn my dear Zam. I loved you Zam...your daddy will always love you.

I have always been a big fan of rats as I'm sure I've said, it is a real shame that they do trend to lead short lives. All you can really do is know in your heart that you gave her a good life and that she was happy with you.
