Is it sad, that me, a young man of 19, prefers to listen to classical music, like Holst and Tchaikovsky, rather than any of the current popular music?
Is it odd that I am more at home blaring the score to Superman Returns, Pirates, Star Wars, Lord of the Rings, or just about any film I like, rather than pumping the hardcore rock or rap?
as I sit here listening to Jupiter from "The Planets" and parts of the "Nutcracker Suite" I feel so odd, but so at home.
am i just odd in general...thats more than likley it.

Because no one can tell, I just watched the Inside The Actor's Studio with Dustin Hoffman. It actually made me feel elated when I was finished -- because the guy's a depository of information, and he's funny as hell to boot. Even with him being tangental in most of his stories -- a couple of which I just have to share with people.
But I can really understand where you're coming from with the Holst and Tchaikovsky. It's like people that prefer the theater to cinema. They have a more immediate emotional connection to the former than they do the latter. It impresses on them a lot more. And I'm just the opposite (as is Billy Bob Thorton).
