Just got back from seeing Pirates 2.
A few thoughts, as i am to tired to write a big review.
the first hour could have been soooooo much different. for the first 40 mins, i wished i was watching Pirates 1, but sadly that was not the case.

the first hour could have been soooooo much different. for the first 40 mins, i wished i was watching Pirates 1, but sadly that was not the case.
but after the first set piece
things started to pick up, and the ride became enjoyable again. Not as much as the first time. Not once did i feel the thrill of the movie that the first one gave me, and drove me to empty my wallet several times to see the film, so in that case, it was a disappointment for me, but unlike some people i know, I loved the movie anyways. no matter what anybody, not me, nor your local movie reviewer, or ANYBODY says, check this film out for yourself. It is a treat, and the Kraken is well worth ticket prices today, to see a modern day take on the monsters of the Harryhausen age.
