So i basically either drive or walk around all day at work.....now i've noticed this about last christmas but more so this year.....what the fuck is up with those GIGANTIC blow up christmas lawn ornaments? I mean, when i was kid i can remember my grandparents taking me for a drive around the local area to see all the christmas lights people put up. Sure there were a few skimpy displays of lights, but some people really put thier heart into it and made a really nice display. Now? It seems to me people have either a) just gotten really lazy or b) just don't really give a shit and only do it just because they feel like they have to. So instead of stringing up lights and putting some thought into it to make something nice, they instead run out to home depot or wherever the fuck it is you get those things, and put these overgrown lawn ornaments up. Personally i think they are ugly as hell, but what the fuck do i know? And from a "green" point of view, i can only imagine that they consume much more energy than your standard christmas lights as they have a giant motorized blowing mechanism keeping them full of air....now like i said, thats my opinion. If you're one the people who has these, i apologize......if not, good for you for keeping the tradition of christmas lights alive.....now where did i put BB gun?
