Okay, so time for an update in my journal. Here it is.
It's Jan. 6th, 2004. The 6th day of the year. There are 350 days until the end of the year.
Today, I got some laundry done, and watched "Underworld." I must say, that ever since "Interview with a Vampire" there hasn't been a descent vampire movie to come out yet. Though, I must say, being an avid White Wolf VtM RPer, I throughly enjoyed "Underworld."
Well, after I finished watching "Underworld." I got on the computer and chatted for a little with Lunna.
I also did some home made fliers as well as printed out two of the SG posters for the burlesque show.
I ended up going and picking my buddy Chase up, and we went to Staples to make some copies of the actual real SG flier for the show.
We ended up posting one of the homemade ones on a handicap parking place sign.
From the Staples, Circuit City parking lot we drove across the street to the mall. I really was going to try to get the shittiest store in the fucking mall to put up the flier Hot Topic. Though the manager person said that they were a family oriented store and they didn't want some parent raising hell. I had to laugh and walked out the store. That was the funniest shit I've heard in a long time.
I am going to submit the pictures we took on my little picture section as soon as my friend sends them to me. SG ARMY!!!!
We ended up going to Prisicilla's which is a an adult clothing shop and left some fliers there. Before we even walked out the door, I was being asked about the show. Two girls picked up fliers to take with them.
From there we went to Wal-Mart to hit up the community boards in the front of the store. There were 5 people asking about the show before we left. One couple was so excited. They had seen SG on HBO's real sex they said, and got excited about the fact that they were coming with a Burlesque show. The wife was pretty damn hot, and tugged her husband trying to get him to get a membership so that she could try to become an SG. They so totally rocked and told me that they would see me at the show.
While in the entrance, I ran into a buddy of mine, Sean. We were talking, and he knew about the show from having been down at The Soap Box. He also has a buddy who is a member of SG from Leland, NC.
So, there might be another SG member to hang out with.
Hmmm, I don't know what else to say except as soon as I get the pictures from Chase, I'll post them.
