Such a weird new year party I had.
First, my cousin tries to steal my only two gifts, wich are basically two envelopes containing happy wishes and money. Nice family reunion, also pretty much my last here ! Hey have fun next year with the well known drug addict/thief. Suckers...
Then, just before I go to my weekend of debauchery, my father tells me that my uncle, one of is borther, just died on the 31st of December ! Or rather on the first of January, i'm not quite sure about THAT part ! I did go to my week end party, because my father pushed me into it but men, did I really wanted to party after hearing about that ? He told me I wasn't suposed to know it before I went but I did, and I missed the farewell reunion, wich bugs me a lot. It makes me wonder if I'm part of the family or something... really the first time I ever asked myself that question.. I guess I'll never have the answer.
How's that for a new year beginning huh ? I really hope you guys enjoyed your celebrations and holidays more than me.

I'm sorry to hear about your uncle. I wasn't extremely close to my great-aunt, and I don't think my father was either.
