ok so it's been about 10 weeks or so without any new journals. But it's never too late to start a New Year's resolution. I've been a little busy and a lot lazy so I hope everyone can forgive me. I've been wanting to be a little more active this site. But I'll admit it's hard. between work and a clingy/ needy gf who doesn't trust a damn thing I do ever, it's hard to get the time to really make friends at SG. It's hard making friends in general without a gf watching your every move. Don't get me wrong though. She's great and I love her. But a guy needs his space and his freedom to break out once in a while.
So how's everyone doing?
I'm doing pretty good. My work has moved me to third shift so instead of working 6 to 2:30, I'll be working something like 9:45 to 5:45. The pay should a little better and I'm up for a little bit of a challenge. That's pretty much why I'm awake at 2:15 instead of sleeping like I really want to. I'm preparing.
I just got done not too long ago chatting with zerodiva, she's a pretty cool chick and she's cute too. I love talking to people who are relatively close to where I live. I also love white russians. I've had about two tonight. I'd have to say it's probably my favorite cocktail. It goes down nice and smooth and it's something nice to just casually sip on.
How's everybody's new year going? I'd have to say that 2010 is way better than 2009. 2009 really sucked balls, in a bad way I mean. But I will say this about 2009. It was a good year in comics. I really stated collecting last year. And it was a good year for music. Green Day's 21st Century Breakdown has to be one of my favorite albums of all time. I don't know if it was the stuff I was going through last year or what but that album really spoke to me. I mean I feel a good personal connection with it. It's 18 tracks of great music. I highly recommend it to anyone.
And congratulations to Smallville on getting a tenth season. I can't fucking wait. It's one of the best shows out there.
And since I can't remember what else to talk about and the fact that I honestly think I've gone on way too long. I'll bid everyone a good night.
