That is great that you feel so confident in where you're at! It literally took me 6 or 7 years to get to that point (although before I start any shoot I constantly have a little doubt), but I suppose this says a fair bit about the type of self-doubting person I am more than anything!

I swear confidence is a good 25% of it. I know there are sets where I went into it feeling like it would never work, and it didn't. It might just be that I could tell when sets weren't going to work, but that lack of confidence was surely a large factor.

I'm so happy to hear my, sometimes unsolicited, advice has helped and that it continues to help other photographers! It really makes me smile to think it is passed on.

One of the most rewarding things I've experienced while working for SG, yet obviously has no monetary reward, is to help other photographers learn their way or get better at what they already do.

Ever since the beginning I have always maintained that how well each and every staff photographer shoots reflects on the entire team and company. Even though I have had my experience marred by some hyper-competitive photographers along the way, I will always continue to help others. After all, we only get better by working together and inspiring each other.

One of the biggest 'leaps' in my ability as a confident and social photographer was working directly alongside Alissa. To think that others wouldn't be able to experience such a thing because of competitive natures is too sad!

Well, anyway, I'm so happy to see you still here and continuing to get better and better all the time. I always knew you had it in you (;
