Last night on 103.1 Indie FM, I co-hosted SuicideGirls Radio with our guest true Renaissance man Marquis Michael Des Barres. This handsome Brit fronted bands Power Station (replacing Robert Palmer) and Chequered Past with Sex Pistols Steve Jones, and had a recurring role in smash TV hit MacGyver. Notably, he is the ex-husband of famed groupie Pamela Des Barres Jim Morrisons ex (the babe Meg Ryan played in The Doors). Incidentally, she authored two books about those crazy days, Im With the Band and Take Another Little Piece of My Heart. HBO will soon turn the former into a TV-series, starring quirkster Zooey Deschanel.
