The fallacious nature of morality

So I've been thinking lately that we, as humans, have been conditioned to believe that certain decisions we make have a polar right and wrong flavor to them. Looking at history I don't believe this to be the case because morality is in constant flux. Are there some things that remain just no matter the age of humanity? Absolutely. Could I be going insane in my aging mind with the compounded grief I've suffered the last few years? Most definitely.

I just think that in this digital age we've had the courtesy of seeing ourselves in an unprecedented way. Now that putting something on the internet has the danger of it going viral and thus becoming cemented in our minds I would hope that we have become more honest about our intentions as a species.

We are all flawed, there is no doubt about that but I still believe we mean well. Certain groups demonize behaviors and emotions we all feel to elevate themselves into positions of power but now that we have the mirror of digital media reflecting back at us I would hope we all think about our decisions.

Still no matter what your beliefs or opinions, we live in a world where you can find people that agree with you. This is a far cry from my pre-internet childhood in a small town that often ostracized me.

Thus I wonder, does anyone know what morality is? Is it a good thing? Can we agree on a right or wrong beyond our own superstitions? Does such a thing even exist?

Personally I don't know but I would like to see humanity in a state where we can coexist harmoniously to a fruitful end.

Definitely something to think about... If we all just loved others, looked out for them and cared a little less about getting ahesd, we might be alright... But then that's just my opinion
