For the working class hero the passage of time and all it's deeds is a weight no one should bear.
Sometimes I worry I've gone beyond the edges of sanity. I struggle for an anchor beyond my bloodline, knowing I am fully capable of living on my own but I don't feel like my daily routines are worth having with no one to share them with.
I don't believe we are beings meant to exist as individuals. Though we can excel at being unique it is only when we honestly collaborate that we create something greater than the sum of our wholes. Even simple celled life forms get it. When you work together, fail together, and grow together you can become a force that changes reality.
So many are willing to succumb to the musings of the rich that I think we forget the power we have to shape our world.
I'm willing to make many concessions to live a comfortable life because I believe that certain people can be trusted to maintain order but I think the US lost it's way a long time ago. The American dream lead to endless corruption and while it has given birth to a trove of intellectual advancement I fear the backlash of the capitalist kings.
I'm not afraid that morality won't prevail though. If you take a look at history you will see that the masses always prevail. The idea that those who truly want the best for humanity's survival will succeed isn't immortalized in countless legends and stories for no reason. Despite the semantics of our daily battles we all agree to a certain moral standard that is line drawing and has nothing to do with personal gain.
The problem is we've created subservient system that doesn't care about it's supporters. We just simply exist to support ourselves rather than demand better of our elected officials.
You should always trust your guide but you should never rely on him/her because if the worst were to happen it up to you to keep going.
