A quick run of my day

This is the first time I've had a Friday off in forever and it's been pretty awesome. No drama, nothing crazy happened, just me and some good old smoke while I go about my daily activities. Now I'm thinking about going to the bar for a quick beer before I retire. hmm.

But first I'd like to say The Stanley Parable is a one of those mind blowing games that defies expectations. I guess I wasn't really sure what to expect from it now that I think about it, I just saw it received a ton of praise and I usually like things that are indie that receive a lot of praise. So I suppose in a way I wanted it to be pretty good and entertaining for a few hours but it's much more than that. The game itself exists in that strange blurry state where I wonder if art imitates life or life imitates art or if either even imitate anything other than our desires.

I love doing things that make me think deep thoughts :D

Either way the game is quite a trip even when I'm not waxing philosophical. It's made me chuckle and also lol quite a few times but it has some dark moments too. Below are two screen shots from a particularly crazy play through of the Stanley Parable. Don't click if you don't want a spoiler.

No those aren't mistakes, they are from The Stanley Parable. Odd as it might seem this game gets a whole lot crazier than this.

Now I leave you all to the rest of your nights as I go on to have a nice cold beer. :)

PS, no idea why it keeps stretching out my picture but it's suppose to be small. Hence the pixelation.
