I know what you mean! I have a problem with growing feelings for people I am close to. I guess it's much better to become close AFTER hooking up. Don't know what makes it sooooo damn hard about having a thing for someone that is so near to everything about you, it just is, ALL the time. All I can say is I really hope you meet somone just as nice,thoughtful,funny and cool as the guy you are all about right now. Maybe then things will look up for you. Untill then just keep an open mind and remember to have fun on a daily basis. Smile whenever you can and, well, things just get better all on their own. Take care and have a great week!!!

Antidepressents have a tendency to decrease libido. It's not a side effect that they tend to focus on in the big list because nobody wants to hear it. I worked in a pharmacy and saw teens who were particularly violent or were pegged as at risk for sexual assault, that lived in group homes getting all sorts of drugs that had secondary effects of reducing drive because they figured it would calm them down. Some of the drug cocktails these kids were on were just sick. And in most cases they weren't on them for the original purpose of the drug. Just for one of the side effects.
