Berkeley's all right, but it is expensive. You gotta be patient with finding an apartment cuz they got some pieces of shit that go for $$$... you might even have better luck in SF or Oakland. Plus, I like those places better, I think they're more fun - I'm moving to San Leandro with my boyfriend this summer. good luck!
