What an emotionally draining day. Ugh.
So this week at work, I've been dealing with the biggest fuckheads in the entire world I swear to god. Just straight up rude, disrespectful people and I don't understand it because honestly, I have really good customer service skills. And I would like to think I'm a genuinely nice person but a girl can only take so much! People drive me insane at my work!
Then today I was scissoring this Poodle and lately my left wrist has been really sore and my right hand has just been sucking it up. So my scissors randomly drop from my hand and I can't grip them enough to pick them back up. Awesome. And right now as I type, my left wrist is hurting. So I made a doctor's appointment Saturday to see what's up, because carpal tunnel is extremely common in dog grooming for obvious reasons and I just want to be safe. A friend from work just had to get a shot for her arm because they said she has tendonitis. Can't wait. It's just soooo frustrating! My hands are my moneymakers!
So I came home and my boytoy was supposed to come over to keep me company and take a nap with me but he had to cancel because he needed to watch his little siblings and such so I was really bummed because I was looking forward to cuddles, which is corny I know.
Then, about an hour ago, I'm sitting in my room and Sir Hops A Lot is exploring and playing and all of a sudden I notice he had something in his mouth and next to him was half a piece of gum. Fuck. I know the ingredients in sugar free gum are extremely poisonous to dogs so I panicked! I started bawling and trying to get it out of his mouth and then he got scared because I was scared and I had to call ASPCA Poison Control (a $65 fucking charge that my roommate was so kind to lend me) and they were talking to me for about 20 minutes and now this is the gross part so I'll put it in a spoiler...
