I constantly get asked why I'm single. Or why I don't date. And I got into a conversation today with my roommate about the same thing. He goes
"You are so pretty and you have a rockin' personality. You can have any guy you want, so why don't you date?"

And I just shrugged and said why would I?

There are many reasons I don't date. One small reason being yes, I am not super confident like most people would think I am and I get nervous sometimes, so sue me! But honestly, what's the point in dating?

Pat claims that letting yourself love someone is the greatest feeling one can have. I strongly disagree. Letting my barriers down for a guy that's just gonna fuck me over in the end? No thanks. And I'm not bitter against men by any means, I love men. They're fun to hang out with, look at, play with, etc. But I do NOT see the point in commiting myself and letting myself care about someone when all that ever happens is I get hurt. Sure, I date around and talk to guys but I refuse to commit myself to someone.

Think about it, all the couples I know are miserable. It's not like I plan on never loving someone again. I just don't want to be in a relationship until I know it's someone I can REALLY be with. No more bullshit.


So THAT is why I'm single.

So please...stop asking! Hahaha
