After reading American Psycho by Brett Easton Ellis, I thought I would watch the movie. What a disappointment!

Bateman is so much cooler in the book, and the movie leaves out many of the good scenes - in one he's walking around his house with a head hanging from his erection by the mouth.

Okay, so it's twisted. I like that kind of stuff though. Now I'm reading Lullaby, by Chuck Palahniuk - same guy who wrote Fight Club. He's one of the most quotable authors I've ever read. All of his books make satiric statements about different aspects of society. If you liked Fight Club, then you should definitely read Survivor. Great book!

Next I'm going to read Rules of Attraction. This one is also by Brett Easton Ellis. I've already seen the movie, so I'm interested to see what they left out. It should be a great read.

Anyway, that's been my life for the past two days, other than playing a lot of guitar. I don't play well, and I certainly can't sing, but it is soooo much fun! My latest endeavor has been to play The Luckiest by Ben Folds Five, which is the best love song ever. Second would have to be Anyone Else But You by The Moldy Peaches.

Well, I'm going to go back to reading, maybe watch another movie. Tomorrow is work Aaah well, the Navy thinks they need me, and life goes on.

But hey, I'm living in Spain - what else could I ask for?
