Why does it seem to me that I'm more busy on vacation than when I'm working?
So... Still trying to get my truck from the storage yard. People I thought I could count on come up with every excuse they can, even after they agree to help. The owner of the yard is being cool though, no outrageous storage fees. It's just frustrating that I'm having so much trouble getting it home.

And with my drama. I was talking with a friend and she thinks that it may be because we aren't religious at all, and they know it. His younger brother is really into church, plays in the church band and all that and they talk to him every week or so. It's a theory anyway. I often wish I understood why so many people are into marijuana. Alas, it has almost no effect on me.
Happy Birthday to me... not so much. The slip yolk on the rear of the transfer case "roll welded" itself to said transfer case and ripped it out of my truck, taking the rear drive shaft and transmission with it. Also put a hole in the floor by the back seat. Anybody have a spare $4150 I could borrow?

Well, the thumbscrews were a complete disappointment but the doctor seemed to be enjoying himself. At that point I went back to Tylenol and called it a day.
As for medicinal pot, I'm allergic to it, but it's OK because the pain now is not significant.

As for the bike, it's an early 90s Basso Ascot with the conventional Italian BB of its time. The spindles are square taper, but the length depends on the cramkset. I have an ancient Campy NR, but 52/46 is not my idea of fun gearing. I haven't checked for a long while, so I really should look into what's available these days. New is hundreds of dollars that I can't justify on my budget.
Of course, with more information, other possibilities may come to light.
