I went to go see True Grit today. I was pleasantly surprised by the comedy in it. I should not have been surprised considering that Jeff Bridges is in it. I never saw the original. I would really like to check it out now. My dad was the big John Wayne fan. I was more of an Eastwood fan. My dad liked both, but to him the Duke was the king.
Stuff is going fairly well at work. Still plugging away. I need to stop procrastinating and take my 2-month sabbatical. I have put it off for two years now. Bonuses this year were more than generous. Yay for a good year at work! I am looking to get a new TV. The one I have now will likely die this Summer. It doesn't take the heat very well.
I have started to exercise a bit. Mostly just to make myself feel better. When I used to do my routine I felt and slept a lot better. I used to be very regiment with my workouts and vitamins. I let apathy get a hold of me for far too long. Time to kick a little butt!
