Went and saw Tron Legacy recently. Now, I liked the movie but it is what it is. This is not a ground breaking movie like Matrix or does it have the immersive story line of LoTR. It is quite stunning visually with a story that is intended to guide the movie along. To be honest, when the movie started I was really just counting down the seconds until they moved to the Grid. The soundtrack was pretty kickass with a cameo from the makers of the soundtrack, Daft Punk. The original had a digital soundtrack while on the Grid so it is only fitting that the new movie should match. It was pretty much what I expected so I was not disappointed in the least.

EDIT: I forgot to mention, kudos on using actual UNIX commands! I was nerdfully pleased with this

Does anyone else think it is odd that somehow the entire world uses a calendar year system based off of Anno Domine (translate to In the Year of Our Lord)? Just seems weird how a world of so many different beliefs would adopt that convention.

Not much else going on. I don't really celebrate the holidays anymore. I don't dislike them either, just somewhat indifferent to them these days Whatever your beliefs have a fun and safe holiday season!
