So, the first ASU game of the season was pretty fun. Had Chik-fil-A at the tailgate and got to seem some folks I hadn't seen for a while. There was a swarm of moths attacking our section. It was quite entertaining. I misses the NAU game so I could go hang out with some friends and watch Resident Evil. Overall verdict, I liked it but the characters could have been developed a bit more.

In better news, time seems to be speeding back up a bit for me. The last couple months have gone by excruciatingly slow. More correctly, the manner in which I perceive time is returning to normal.

I have been reading some more Frank Herbet. Just finishes Messiah of Dune and now I am moving on to Children of Dune. I really can appreciate an author that can build his main protagonist to near god like status and then turn around and have that same character tear down his own image. I have always had a strong belief that the religions and ideas that are based on certain people often would actually upset the people they were based on. Almost as if the main point of their existence was missed. Darn you Herbert, filling my head with ideas of prescience and expanded awareness.

My birthday is less than a week away. I do believe I will treat myself to some Bennihana. Their fillet and lobster is very tasty Apart from that I have no plans. I am sure my friend Craig will attempt to take me out sometime before my bday and proceed to find some venue for me to make a fool of myself again. Last year he actually convinced me to sing karaoke. Kiltlifters and Jamensons, yeah. I sang Tony Rich Project's "Nobody Knows it but Me". Yeah...

K, so Halo Reach is out. Time to kill some Covenant!
