You know, I've been reflecting on depression. What it is and how it effects us. It's not just about being sad, it's far more than that. Some days I just feel bleh. I don't want to move I don't want to get out of bed I have no energy to speak of. Other days I feel like screaming, crying uncontrollably and hiding away from anyone and everyone. See it's this last bit that's the most important. When we hide and we don't talk to people we spiral further and further into our own pain. This is how people decide to leave this life behind. I'm sharing this in the hope that someone will read it, and know that I, a random stranger, know and feel the same way you do. I have depression. I'm fighting it everyday. Your not on your own.
