This has not been a good week. it's so weird how things can go from great to really really bad in less than a minute.
I found out Monday night that my grandma was in the hospital. they said it was kidney or gall stones, no big deal. i was planning on visiting her on Tuesday.
Tuesday morning while at the doctors office for my son's shots, the nurse said i had an emergency phone call to call my mom. stupid me left the cell phone at home. my mom said that they had to resucitate my gram and put her on a ventilator, by 10 am she was in emergency surgery.
by the time i got to the hospital, the surgeon said she had an ulceration in her stomach that burst and bile was in her insides, she was septic and had paratenitis, and if she made it, a big if, they found a mass near her left breast.
Today i found out that the stomach specialist says her kidney's are failing and he would be amazed if she leaves the hospital.
The worst part is that she was just at my house on mother's day for my son's baptism and i don't have any pictures of her and my son together. if you pray, please pray for her.
the reason i am putting this in my journal is that i need to get it out and i don't have anywhere else to put it.
