Not much new with me...my eyes have been bothering me all day. I thought it was Red Eye at first but now I'm certain it's just pollen.

I'm writing a book of poetry. The book has an overarching theme to it, it's about loving someone and trying to communicate with them.. Here's the most recent poem from it:

Kristallnacht

Loving you makes me so frantic, girl.
I feel like the army and the rabble
have stromed the city,
everywhere the sound of broken glass
and Im running in the streets after midnight,
panicking because I dont know the name of your mother,
because I have no idea if you played softball as a girl,
because I suspect but am not certain
that you like to be kissed between your toes.

After dreaming of you,
the town is different the next day.
People keep their eyes to the ground,
no one laughs,
the children are hushed
and certain words can no longer be spoken.
Love is a regime all its own
and this is the Order we all claimed to want,
the velvet glove holding our hand
all through the long, lonely night.
