I have always loved this song but for some reason, when I heard this on the radio the other day, it struck me anew just what a brilliant song it is:

Surely your life couldn't have mirroreed Hoffman's character to a T!? But I can totally relate to being able to so heavily relate to a character so much that it's painful to watch. I look forward to seeing it again, though to fully grasp every angle all at once. Hoffman is such an amazing actor as well, I adore him.
