It was a week ago tonight that I saw Synecdoche, New York. It had a profound effect on me...it's been a long time since a work of art spoke to me on such a deep and personal level. It is so brilliant but I don't think it's a film I could ever watch again. It hit too close to home. Here's Roger Ebert's review of it, his feelings come very close to mine:

I spent Christmas Day at the beach, here's a shitload of pictures!
(Here's a fun bit of trivia, New Hampshire has the smallest coastline of all the states, it's a little over 15 miles)
